Ok i have just started reading this book "My sister's keeper" by Jodi Picoult this week and i can say i'm loving it.i watched the movie sometimes back and i found it very blehh!!
This post is actually really about books that gets made into a movie. i think this is a wonderful thing, it means that the book was so well received or well sculptured that the producers of movies felt it must come to life.
But i have this thing about making good books into movies, it never the same. its empty. but i guess it just goes to show that you can never put together a good 300 to 400 pages of a good read in a 2 hours. i also find that the stories end up being milked of all the little feelings and details that made the story in the first place.
Well i have nothing against movies, i think they are a great entertainment but a book is a different thing, a different world, a different language and culture and is too big to be squizzed into a 2 hour feel good entertaiment.my opinion.
Anyway i will be enjoying this book over the long weekend, so don't disturb.lol
